The Hon'ble CAT Kolkata bench in its decision has ordered to implement the sanant mehta committee recommendations for revising the pay scales of the Director and on that base the pay scales of the Officers of the board were also enhanced.
But as as the present Director is perusing to file a WP 85/2010 before the Hon,ble High court Kolkata challenging the CAT judgement.
Forgetting that "the pay scale of the Director is the base for the enhancement in the pay scales of the Officers", so if the officers pay goes down, it means the Director pay will also be reduced automatically.

ReplyDeleteone factual correction, pay enhancement is not the correct term but restoration of pay. Some are conveniently taking it as pay enhancement, so I suggest those ignorant to first educate themselves on the history of pay anomaly to arrive at correct idea of pay issue.

I have read the heading of the blog. What more our cadre friends expect from CBWEOA. Have they any time realised How serious being a member they are by themselves? When last time you have written a representation to AD regarding his autocracy with a copy to Gen secy CBWEOA. When every RCs told to open their e-mail account for private communication of CBWEOA to cadre for avoiding NIC mail, I have verified fact that only a dozen of RC responded. People have ever asked to our previous GS and Executive body about their inaction when Prof Virus allmost bulldozing the CBWE pattern. When The new Executive body started doing somethings three months before many senior people criticised GS being a puppet of young people. Just think How many GS before this written letter to The Director till the inception of CBWEOA. We old people salute the spirit of the New Executive body with lots of ??? regarding Regn and recognition. Have any one called to the association mafias who have literally hijacked association agenda and money for their own use. Lats give strength to good work and effort and ask your soul first are we serious members and have we asked account of our hard earned money.

DeleteI think a little correction is needed, in place of 'Sanat Mehta Committee' I think it would be 'Bhajan Dasgupta Committee".
ReplyDeleteAt the same time I would also like to make a point that not only a single committee recommendation, but a number of recommendations including the latest peer review committee have made recommendation for pay scale even higher than rs 8000-13000. They have recommended for Rs 10000-15000 for EO (5th CPC)
Some say since CBWE is a so called less important department, so they are not eligible to claim justice. In my opinion we are one of the most important department in a Democratic country, since we have the privileged to directly meet the people and largely influence their opinion.
Last of all, we are united under the leadership of CBWE Officers Association be it difficult time of otherwise. Sometimes difference of opinion proves freedom of speech.
We will fight together for justice and equality and win.
